What You Haven’t Seen: Pretty Perfect Gestures

Hey lovely, hope you're okay!

Pretty Perfect Gestures are something we’ve committed to every single month. It’s our way of giving back to the community that supports us, and offering a little help where it might go a long way.

We haven’t shared as many updates lately, but behind the scenes, the gestures haven’t stopped.

Over the past few months, we’ve continued to show up in small, thoughtful ways - so here’s a little of what’s been happening...

Supporting Southend Fibromyalgia Association

150+ products for a community that deserves every bit of support

We were so touched to be able to donate Pretty Perfect Products to the Southend Fibromyalgia Association, a support group for people affected by fibromyalgia.

Managing this condition often means dealing with pain, fatigue, and memory difficulties, while keeping track of medication, appointments and daily routines. It’s exactly why Jacquelyn designed our products in the first place - to help ease that mental load and make everyday life feel a little more manageable.

The Southend Fibromyalgia Support Group is a community that supports individuals living with fibromyalgia, along with their families and carers. The group provides a safe and understanding space to share, learn, and feel less alone.

Helping Amelia Kopla Break Records

Birthday cards for a little girl who captured the world's heart

One of the parents from Amelia’s school reached out to share her story - a brave eight year old from Rowley Regis who was facing neuroblastoma, and whose birthday wish was to receive as many cards as possible as part of a Guinness World Record attempt.

To help Amelia reach her goal, every member of the PPP team wrote her a birthday card, each one filled with messages of support, letting her know we were thinking of her and celebrating her. Her wish brought people together from all over the world, and she went on to set the record with over 300,000 cards.

Amelia has since passed away, but her story - and the love she inspired - will never be forgotten. 🩷

Milestone Birthdays & Messages From The Team

A 60th for Judith, and a 30th for Jess

Sometimes, the people who love us most just want to make a moment feel that bit more special. And we feel so lucky to play a small part in that.

Judith’s daughter reached out ahead of her 60th birthday, sharing how much her mum loves Pretty Perfect Products and how she wanted to mark the occasion with a Pretty Perfect card. So, we did just that. We filled a card with handwritten messages from our whole team - a small way of sending our love, and hopefully something that made her smile on her day.

Then there was Jess' best friend got in touch with another thoughtful request. She was creating a surprise scrapbook for her 30th and asked if we’d include a handwritten message. Of course, we said yes, and added the personal note to her order so she could add it to the surprise gift - a small touch to sit alongside all the memories she had carefully put together.

Supporting Strong Minds & Strong Women

SECE Mind celebrating 60 years event on 5th March 2026

On the 5th of March, South East and Central Essex Mind hosted their Strong Minds, Strong Women event at Westcliff Rugby Club, and it was important to us not only to support it, but to be there in person too.

To support their work, we donated Pretty Perfect Products that focus on mental wellbeing, including our journals and Overthinker Planner, to be included in goodie bags for those attending the event.

We also spent the day listening to the stories shared by incredible women, each speaking with honesty, strength and openness about their own experiences.

SECE Mind do incredible work in our local community providing essential mental health support services, guidance and safe spaces for those who need it.

Replacing What Was Taken

A girl, a bike, and her favourite planner

We received a message from a support worker who cares for a young girl with autism whose bike had been stolen - and with it, something she relied on every day. Her Pretty Perfect Planner.

For many children, especially those who find comfort in routine and familiarity, something like a planner holds so much more than pages. It offers consistency, a sense of order, and something familiar they can rely on when things feel out of place.

Luckily, her binder wasn’t too badly damaged. While we couldn’t replace her bike, we could replace every insert, helping to restore a small but important part of her routine.

What happened to her shouldn’t have happened. And while we couldn’t change that, we could remind her that the things she cares about matter - and so does she.

Helping Two Little Ones Navigate a Big Change

One family's fresh start and support through kindness

One of our lovely customers reached out to let us know she was relocating abroad, leaving behind her home and everything familiar. What started as a quick question about whether we could deliver her Pink Post to her new country turned into something more.

She shared that she wanted to help her children understand what was happening and asked what we would recommend. We wanted to support that too. So, we sent a Kindness is Cute binder bundle for each of them.

When a child is going through a big change, having something of their own can really help. A place to write, draw, and work through their feelings can bring a little comfort and help them feel more settled.

This is what Pretty Perfect Gestures are about. Not big moments, but small, thoughtful ways to support someone when they need it.

Pretty Pink Boxes for a Very Important Cause

Donating to the CLAPA charity raffle

A customer reached out to us after her little girl received incredible support from CLAPA, the Cleft Lip and Palate Association. CLAPA supports children born with a cleft and their families, offering guidance, community and care from diagnosis through to treatment and beyond.

She shared her experience with us and asked if we would consider donating to a raffle she was organising to raise funds for the charity. We were more than happy to be involved.

We put together a selection of our favourite products in our signature pink boxes to contribute. Knowing they might go to someone who will enjoy them, while also helping raise money to support families who need it, felt special.

A Scrapbook Guest Book & Our Little Note Inside

For the happy couple!

A family member of a bride-to-be reached out to us, hoping to buy one of our scrapbooks for her upcoming wedding. They wanted to surprise her with a Pretty Perfect place for guests to leave messages, photos and little drawings she could keep forever.

Our scrapbooks were a Black Friday exclusive and had already sold out. But as luck would have it, we had one left on the shelf. It had been kept aside just in case, but it felt right that it went to her.

So, we sent it — no charge.

And because we love love, Sophie tucked a handwritten note inside to wish them both the most wonderful start to their life together. 💍

We’ll be sharing more of our Pretty Perfect Gestures, so keep an eye out for the next update. Follow along to see how we continue to show up, give back, and make a real difference where it matters. 💖

What is a Pretty Perfect Gesture?

A Pretty Perfect Gesture is a simple act of kindness aimed at someone who needs support. It's not a handout - it's a hand. These are something we're committed to throughout the year, because we genuinely believe that doing good, even quietly, makes the world feel a little warmer.
